TĘSKNOTA - Score - PDF

Tęsknota - the Polish word for “longing” or “missing” – is a musical greeting to all the people who are no longer part of our lives. The piece is a homage to loss and at the same time a reminder that people are transient. It combines the sadness of missing them with gratitude for the beautiful memories we were able to share with them before they left.

The improvisation section in this piece is there to give each musician the opportunity to express themselves in their own way, as everyone experiences grief differently and carries their own unique life experiences.
