Hava Nagila - Score - PDF

Hava Nagila - is a joyful, energetic song that invites people to celebrate, sing, and dance together. With its simple lyrics – “Let us rejoice” – and catchy melody, it’s become a staple at Jewish weddings, parties, and festivals. The song taps into something universal: the need to come together, celebrate life, and feel part of a community. Whether played by a traditional klezmer band or a pop singer, it has a way of lifting spirits and filling the room with warmth and energy. More than a song, it's a shared moment of joy.

This arrangement was inspired by Aleksey Igudesman’s (well known violinist and a dear friend of mine) version. He wrote an arrangement of Hava Nagila for violin and vibraphone in a 7/8 meter. I had the pleasure of performing this version with him at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf in 2024. That experience inspired me to create my own version for marimba solo.
